In charge Treasury Back Office

The Bank of Khyber is seeking applications from highly skilled and experienced candidates for the captioned position Incharge Treasury Back Office at Karachi:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

 · Maintain review and suggest improvement in treasury related policies, controls, and
  procedures with support/involvement of respective business and operations
 groups/divisions/functions, taking into consideration various regulatory requirement.
· Ensure proper internal controls and checks are in place and are being stringently
   followed as per procedures/guidelines issued by SBP.
· Supervise & administer Treasury Back Office in a manner that Bank’s policies
   procedures and SBP regulations are adhered.
· Supervise all administrative and management control functions pertaining to
   Treasury Back Office.
· Monitor and review that all system inputs are verified/authorized & all output
   reports are checked/reviewed/singed jointly & properly kept in record.
· Ensure deal confirmations, processing of settlements and payments to be made
   to/received from the brokers and counterparties.
· Monitor and follow up the receipts on deal maturities and ensuring correct
  recording/reporting.
· Mange and monitor SWIFT messages of the bank related to Treasury & Investment
  and to ensure effective communication with corresponding international financial
  institution worldwide.
· Review reconciliations between the bank’s portfolios with SBP accounts/SGL,
  NOSTRO accounts, CDC statements and broker notes.
· Ensure that revaluations/mark-to-market are conducted on timely basis as per
  defined frequencies and ensure correct posting or relevant entries in the system.
· Monitor the cash reserve/liquidity requirement, investment position, outstanding call
   borrowing, lending and placement position on regular basis
· Ensure timely submission of reports to SBP and provision of information to Finance
   and other functions for statutory, regulatory and management.
· Liaison & co-ordination with Senior Management/Other functions/department.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
· Required qualification is Graduation however MBA/M.Com/M.Sc Economics or any
  other relevant degree from HEC recognized university will be having an edge.
 · 08 years relevant experience of which 03 years should be as Incharge Treasury (Back
   Office).
· Age preferably up to 40 years (relaxable in case of deserving cases).

· Excellent computer skills are desirable.
· Market based salary commensurate with experience and qualification will be offered
   to the right person.
· Management reserves the right to select or reject any application without assigning
  any reason at any stage.
